Christine McGuire

Christine graduated from Carleton University with a Master of Arts in Public History and joined the Diefenbunker team in September of 2009. Christine is responsible for the development and delivery of educational programming.  This includes: school and youth programs, such as summer camps, classroom outreach kits, Bunker birthdays, and group tours. She is currently working on: a "teacher workshop evening," where discussion can take place on current and future educational programs offered by the Diefenbunker, different resources for teachers on "Canada and the Cold War," and how the museum can offer both in-class and field aids for educators.

Visitor Services and Administration Manager

Amy Turner

Amy graduated from Carleton University with a major in Sociology/Anthropology and sharpened her studies by attending Algonquin College for the Applied Museum Studies Program. She started at the Diefenbunker in 2008 and early in 2010 took over the Visitor Services and Administration Manager position.

In preparation for the change to self guiding, she implemented a new Visitor Management System which facilitates bookings, admissions and the Cold War Store and has introduced the opening of CanX, the Diefenbunker's ration pack depot.

She is currently responsible for Facility Rentals, the Diefenbunker's Cold War Boutique, Visitor Services and Administration.
